The service
CopyPasta is a clipboard app from Hokia Labs. It formats copied text on your machine and can send copied text, nearby field text, and spoken instructions to AI providers to rewrite text or generate a picture.
The Privacy and trust page explains what CopyPasta sends and stores. It's part of these terms.
Accounts
You must create an account and sign in before using CopyPasta.
You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your sign-in details to yourself.
Email support@trycopypasta.com from the address on your account to delete it. Hokia Labs can keep records needed for billing, fraud prevention, security, or legal obligations.
Pro subscriptions
Pro is a subscription. It renews on its own until you cancel. Monthly Pro renews every month at $20. Yearly Pro renews every year at $192.
Cancel any time in Manage billing. In the CopyPasta app, open Settings, then Manage billing. Manage billing opens a billing page where you can cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid. You keep Pro until that date.
Prices are in United States dollars. Hokia Labs can change prices. A new price applies at the next renewal. CopyPasta will tell you before that charge.
Refunds
Fees aren't refundable, except where the law requires a refund. Canceling stops later renewals. It doesn't refund the current period.
Acceptable use
You must use CopyPasta only in ways that are lawful. You must not use it to attack others, to break into systems, or to send malware.
AI rewrites and the Image noodle send your copied words, and can send a copied photo, to a model. You must not use generated or redrawn pictures to impersonate a real person to deceive. You must not create sexual images of real people. You must not edit someone's photo without their consent.
You are responsible for the text and pictures you create and paste. CopyPasta doesn't review them before they leave your machine.
Hokia Labs can suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, including this acceptable use section.
AI output
Rewrites and generated pictures can be wrong, incomplete, or similar to other people's work. You must check them before you rely on them.
Hokia Labs doesn't claim ownership of your copied text. Between you and Hokia Labs, you keep the rights you already have in that text. You grant Hokia Labs a license to process it as the Privacy and trust page describes, so the service can run.
The app and the service
CopyPasta comes as is. Hokia Labs doesn't promise that it will be available at all times, that a rewrite will match what you wanted, or that a paste will land in every app.
Where the law permits, Hokia Labs isn't liable for lost data, lost profits, or indirect damages. For any claim, its total liability can't exceed what you paid for Pro in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
Hokia Labs can change these terms. New terms apply once this page shows them. If you keep using CopyPasta after that, you agree to the new terms. CopyPasta will announce a material change to paid subscriptions before the next charge.
Law
Texas law governs these terms, without regard to conflict of law rules. If a court finds a part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
